On August 7, 2025, Cyberdigm team visited CSSA at Korea University. Following the joint R&D agreement signed earlier this year, this session was organized to further solidify practical collaboration measures and review the progress of ongoing projects.

CSSA: Korea’s Leading Software Security Research Institute

CSSA plays a leading role in domestic and global security research. Established with the core mission to advance automated vulnerability analysis technologies and build platforms for software supply chain security, CSSA conducts a wide range of research initiatives, including national R&D projects, global security standards, and next-generation security technologies. It also contributes significantly to cultivating top-tier security professionals.

🤝 Cyberdigm & CSSA R&D Agreement

Earlier this year, Cyberdigm and CSSA officially signed a joint R&D agreement to strengthen the security of unstructured data such as documents, images, videos, and design drawings.

Although unstructured data represents critical intellectual property and company’s core competitiveness, they still remain highly vulnerable to data leakage. Once exponsed, industrial confidential data, research data, and design drawings can cause irreparable damage. This is why proactive technologies are essential to prevent security risks before they occur.

The agreement focuses on building a reinforced security framework for protecting unstructured data. Cyberdigm’s flagship product, Document Centralization Solution(“DCS”), manages unstructured data within enterprises through its centralized server. The key task of joint R&D agreement is to integrate Cyberdigm’s DCS with SBOM technology to establish a more powerful security system.

At the core of this collaboration lies SBOM (Software Bill of Materials) technology, which identifies and manages all software components to detect potential vulnerabilities. Our mission hidden risks are uncovered, preventing security threats in advance.

Cyberdigm aims to leverage this technology to transparently manage software components, swiftly identify vulnerabilities, and enhance data security—providing enterprises with a trusted environment for managing unstructured data.

📸 Cyberdigm & CSSA Meeting Highlights

The meeting was arranged by Professor Heejo Lee, Head of CSSA, along with Hyungseop Kim, Head of Research Planning, and team members.

Discussions focused on reviewing the status of current projects, exploring how to effectively apply advanced security technologies, and strategies to communicate these achievements more broadly.

To share valuable insights and research outcomes with a wider audience, Cyberdigm team will soon feature contributions from CSSA in details. Starting this month, readers can expect articles covering SBOM, global and domestic security issues, and the synergies with Document Centralization Solution—published at the end of each month.

It was a meaningful opportunity to directly experience how vulnerability analysis is conducted and to gain first-hand insights into the research environment. 😊

Through this collaboration with CSSA, Cyberdigm’s Document Centralization Solution will continue evolving into the most secure document security solution available. Moving forward, Cyberdigm remains committed to not only enhancing functionality but also strengthening the protection of corporate digital assets through continuous R&D and external partnerships.
