Collaboration of DCS with Microsoft 365

: Real-Time Co-Editing with a Simple Click

Supported by Microsoft 365 integration, users now can co-edit Excel and PowerPoint files stored on the Document Centralization Solution server in real time.

* Co-editing unavailable with Microsoft Word.

 

1. Select a document stored on the central server, open the context menu, and click the “Co-Edit” button to start real-time collaboration within the Microsoft 365 environment.

à All editings are conducted within an environment of a central server, maintaining a fundamental basis of our centralization solution of preserving all edited and revised documents in the central server instead of local PCs or external devices.

 

2. Multiple users can edit the document simultaneously with changes being reflected instantly. Names of all active editors are displayed, allowing real-time visibility into ongoing edits.

à Regardless of numerous edits, permission levels remain the same even after multiple revisions, maintaining security policies of organizations.

 

3. In document properties, users can view participants involved with co-editing sessions, and all co-editing activities are automatically stored for record-keeping.

à After co-edits are finished, all documents are saved as the latest version. Past edit histories are automatically saved in versions so that users can always go back to previous versions if needed, providing transparency and traceability throughout the collaboration process.
